Strong Turnout for Kelpies Canter

Monday October 1 2018

Over 100 people were at Helix Park in Falkirk on Saturday for Christian Aid’s ‘Kelpies Canter’.

The charity’s supporters met up under the iconic statues for a sponsored 5km walk, run or cycle around the park. There was also children’s entertainment.

Lucy Kirkland, Events Fundraising Officer for Christian Aid Scotland said: “We had a fantastic day on Saturday at the annual Kelpies Canter sponsored walk, with over 110 people joining us from numerous local churches and community groups with young and old walking, running and cycling the 5 km trail.

“The face painting, bouncy castle and scavenger hunt was also a big success and we are already looking forward to next year.”
