Moderator's Easter Message

Friday April 18 2014

For the first time, the Easter Message from the Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland has been released as a video.

In the message, the Rt Rev Lorna Hood highlights the need for more young people to answer the call to ministry in the Church of Scotland - a topic to be discussed at next month's General Assembly.

Mrs Hood talks of her own experience as a trainee minister in Canada, and also speaks of the number of young men who trained as ministers after World War Two, and who went on to become leaders of the next generation of the Church.
