Sing for SCHA

National charity Scottish Churches Housing Action is holding a fundraising Sing Out! event at St Marks’ Church, Rosemount Viaduct, Aberdeen, at 7pm this Sunday, November 2.

Music will be led by the Stonehaven Chorus, conducted by Ralph Jamieson.

Alastair Cameron, Chief Executive of Scottish Churches Housing Action, said: “This Sing Out! event is the first of three across Scotland, part of our 20th anniversary programme. Aberdeen is an important location for us, as we have worked with local churches to develop starter pack projects for people moving out of homelessness in the city. And we are currently working with Aberdeenshire Council and Grampian Women’s Aid to develop starter packs in Aberdeenshire.”

The event is free, and open to all.  A retiring collection will be held, proceeds going towards the work of Scottish Churches Housing Action.

The other Sing Out! events both take place on November 16: at New Laigh Kirk, Kilmarnock, at 6.30pm; and St Andrew's and St George's West Church, Edinburgh, at 7pm.
