Richard Holloway to Speak at Christian-Humanist Conference

Tuesday May 19

Richard Holloway, the former Bishop of Edinburgh, is among the speakers this Saturday at a conference examining the relationship between Christianity and humanism.

"Humanism and Christianity - Friends or Foes" will examine topics such as whether Scotland is still a Christian country and whether religion should be banned in schools.

Also among the speakers are Church of Scotland minister the Rev Russel Moffat and Gary McLelland of the Humanist Society of Scotland.

The half-day conference will be held in St Andrew's and St George's West Church from 10am.
