'Caring Christrmas Trees' Support Homelessness Charity

                                                                                                                                                            November 25, 2015

AN Edinburgh-based charity is once again offering ‘Caring Christmas Trees’ to raise funds for work with the homeless.

Bethany Christian Trust says it has already seen a dramatic increase in demand for its services as the weather gets colder.

Christmas trees, grown sustainably in Scotland, can be ordered in advance this month and collected in December from churches in Edinburgh, Fife, Dundee, Aberdeen, Stirling, Glasgow, Ayr, Hamilton and Paisley.

Highlighting the importance of investing in a ‘Caring’ tree, Bethany Christian Trust says: “Every Caring Christmas Tree funds vital work to transform lives across Scotland. Thanks to your purchase, we are able to support 7,000 people with homelessness and housing, addictions and basic furniture. We also work with children and families and help people gain the confidence and skills to find work and contribute to the life of their local community.”
