A play exploring the intersection of science and faith is touring churches in Scotland this month.
The God Particle is a romance/comedy/sci-fi in which a sceptical quantum physicist bumps into the local vicar in a bar. Over the course of several meetings, both have their various prejudices and assumptions challenged, usually in robust fashion – at the same time as investigating some odd events around the village.
Written by the award-winning TV and radio writer (and occasional preacher) James Cary, the play was a sell-out at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2013.
Starring Emma Hubble and Nathan Stickley, this month's tour takes in six churches in central and eastern Scotland, before heading into England. Dates below, contact the individual churches for information, tickets and start times.
