Good Money Event

Wednesday September 28

The Church of Scotland is collaborating with several ethical finance companies on an event looking at sustainable and ethical money.

‘Make Your Money Count’, to be held in Edinburgh on November 3, during Good Money Week. It will explore key issues around how we invest our money and give practical ideas on making money count.

Among the speakers are representatives of Ethical Futures, Triodos Bank, the Ecumenical Council for Corporate Responsibility, Rathbone Greenbank Investments and Shared Interest.

Along with the presentations, there will be a Q&A session and free lunch. The event will be chaired by Martin Rhodes, chair of the Scottish Fair Trade Forum.

Good Money Week, previously known as National Ethical Investment Week, is a campaign to raise awareness of how financial decisions can be used to have a positive impact on the environment and society.

The Edinburgh event, at St Andrews and St Georges West Church from 10am-2pm, is free but must be booked through Eventbrite
