Almost 100 wedding dresses were on display at St Michael’s Parish Church in Linlithgow on Saturday, at an event showcasing generations of couples who have been married in the 13th century church.

Dresses dating from the 1950s to the present day charting the evolution of bridal fashion attracted dozens of visitors to the church.

Duntocher Trinity Guild, in the Presbytery of Dumbarton, held their annual Marie Curie Daffodil Afternoon Tea. They were joined by guilds from Bearsden, Milngavie, Clydebank and Faifley, and entertained by a group of ladies called Fine Fettle. The afternoon raised £760 for Marie Curie's work caring for people with terminal illness and their families.
