                                                                                                                            Wednesday August 1 2018

THE Kelpies at Falkirk will again host a fundraising day for Christian Aid Scotland.

This year the charity offers an option for a 5km walk, run or cycle as part of a fundraising drive.

The event – which includes an optional scavenger hunt and post event activities including music, face painting and a bouncy castle – will take place on Saturday September 29 at Helix Park.

Christian Aid Scotland has also organised a sponsored walk with the Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, the Rt Rev Susan Brown to highlight the impact of climate change at Whitelee Wind Farm, near Kilmarnock on Saturday August 25.

The farm is the UK’s largest onshore wind farm.
