Tearfund Plan 'Biggest Quiz Ever'

The Christian charity Tearfund is putting on what it says is ‘the biggest multi-venue, nationwide quiz ever’ – and is looking for churches to take part.

The Big Quiz Night, to take place on Saturday November 17, will see churches, groups and Tearfund supporters throughout the country host simultaneous quiz nights. Each event will raise funds for Tearfund’s disaster and poverty relief work throughout the world.

Groups that sign up to host a quiz will be supplied with the questions either on video (with celebrity supporters including TV chef Tom Herbert hosting the food and drink round) or paper, but otherwise are free to organise the event as they please.

Tearfund will be keeping track of how many people are taking part on the night on their online dashboard.
