Tearfund Christmas Tour Starts Next Week

Wednesday November 28 2018

The annual Tearfund Scotland Christmas Concert tour starts next week in Bearsden and will visit nine churches around Scotland.

In a change to the line-up, Yvonne Lyon, Ellyn Oliver and David Lyon will be joined this year by Steph Macleod. Steph is a singer songwriter and worship leader whose music has featured on BBC Radio 2 and Songs of Praise. His third solo album, Gold, reflects on his own problems with mental health and addiction.

He has toured and performed with Mike Farris, Nathan Jess, Chris McClarney (Jesus Culture), The Humming People, and supported artists like Matt Redman, The Rend Collective, and Martin Smith; and is part of the new Scottish worship ministry ‘The Second Mile Society’.

The Tearfund tour, now in its sixth year, will again feature a mixture of traditional carols and original music; and each performance will help to raise money for the organisation’s partner projects around the world.
