Guild Annual Gathering Cancelled

Friday May 8 2020

The Rt Rev Colin Sinclair addresses last year's Annual Gathering

The Church of Scotland Guild has announced that its 2020 Annual Gathering has been cancelled.

The gathering was due to have taken place in Caird Hall, Dundee on September 5 and would have brought together hundreds of Guild members from all over Scotland.

A statement on the Guild’s Facebook page said the Guild office was ‘disappointed’ to announce the cancellation, adding ‘it has not been an easy decision but one that is right under the circumstances’.

Next year’s Annual Gathering has already been announced for September 4 2021, and the Guild hopes to have a service of reflection and thanksgiving this autumn.
