Creation Time Resources Launch

                                                                                           Tuesday August 4 2020

A dozen writers from different ecumenical backgrounds underpin new Creation Time resources launched by Eco Congregation Scotland tonight (Tuesday).

September marks the start of the month of ‘Creation Time’ a global movement which seeks to observe a season promoting sustainable living.

Eco Congregation Scotland chaplain David Coleman said: “Despite all the pressures of this year, we have been able to draw together twelve writers from diverse ecumenical backgrounds to comment with an environmental awareness on the Lectionary passages for the month of September, and this year CTBI (Churches Together in Britian and Ireland), responding to the forthcoming COP meeting in Glasgow ( now in 2021) is locating ‘Climate Sunday’ on the first Sunday of September.”

This year’s themes include responsibility and love for neighbours.

The launch will take place via Zoom at 7.30pm this evening and further information is available (including sign up details) at https://www.ecocongregationscotland.org/event/creationtime2020launch/
