Resources for Media Prayer Day Published

                                                                                                                               Tuesday September 29 2020

PRAYER resources have been published for the Day of Prayer for the Media, which takes place on November 1.

Organised by Christians in Media, the day of prayer calls on congregations to pray for high ethical standards in media; for working in the media to be an honourable profession; for a thriving, vibrant media;  for positive engagement with the media and for a media free of persecution.

Urging churches to get involved, the organisation states: “In an era of fake news, distrust and cynicism, it’s never been more important for us to pray for the media industry, as well as those who work in and with it.

“So on the Day of Prayer for the Media, we invite churches to set aside time in their meetings to pray for their local, regional and national media: to pray for those in their church community who work in, and with, media.”
