Guild's Virtual Big Christmas Sing

Thursday December 3 2020

The Church of Scotland Guild is to host a virtual version of its popular Christmas Big Sing, going live tomorrow afternoon (Friday December 4).

The Big Sings have become very popular in recent years, but this year the Guild’s national events - including autumn National Gathering and the Big Sing at the General Assembly have all been cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Instead, this year’s event will offer everyone the chance to sing along to well-known carols at home. As well as the music and readings, it will include a reflection from the Moderator of the General Assembly, the Rt Rev Dr Martin Fair, and prayers led by the Guild’s National Convener, Mabel Wallace.

The video goes live at 3pm tomorrow and will be shared through the Church of Scotland website and Guild Facebook page.
