Trinity College Announces New Short Courses

Monday January 11 2021

Trinity College and the Department of Theology & Religious Studies at the University of Glasgow are offering a new series of short online courses this spring.

The three courses – Introduction to Biblical Hebrew, Creative Writing as Spiritual Reflection and Contemporary Visual Art and Christian Worship - are aimed both at church leaders and people from a wide range of other backgrounds. They follow two other sets of short courses delivered by Trinity College since the initial coronavirus lockdown last spring.

Courses will be delivered remotely in evening sessions, taking place in small groups and tutored by experienced church leaders and practical theologians. Assessment is optional, but if successfully completed carry 10 undergraduate credit points towards a further education qualification.

Each class will cost £207. Subsidies are available for leaders from Church of Scotland Priority Area parishes. The deadline for applications is this Friday, January 15.
