Online Quiz for Guild Projects

Wednesday January 27

The Moderator of the General Assembly is hosting an online quiz this Saturday (January 30), with donations to projects supported by the Church of Scotland Guild.

The Rt Rev Dr Martin Fair has this month resumed holding the quizzes each Saturday night, after they proved popular during the first coronavirus lockdown last year. They take place on his Facebook page, and you can take part by yourself or form an online team with friends.

Each quiz is open to anybody, but the Guild has especially invited members and their friends to join in this Sunday.

Donations will go to the Guild’s six current partner projects. In Scotland, they are working with CrossReach, the Boys’ Brigade and the Sailors’ Society; overseas, projects helping teenage mothers in Zambia, rescued victims of the sex industry in India and young farmers in Malawi.

The quiz starts at 7pm on Dr Fair’s Facebook page and you can donate to the work of the Church of Scotland Guild here.
