Christian Aid Releases New Climate Resources

Wednesday April 28 2021

Ahead of the CoP26 climate conference in Glasgow later this year, Christian Aid Scotland has produced new climate change resources for teachers and youth workers.

Window on the World, brings stories of the climate emergency into the classroom, using examples from Christian Aid partner projects around the globe. It offers a variety of ways to use photographs and information to learn how people’s lives and livelihoods are affected by climate change.  It is most appropriate for upper primary and lower secondary pupils.

Window on the World is one of a suite of new resources developed to support young people who want to explore issues around climate justice ahead of COP26. A new Bible study series, ‘Be a change-maker', links faith and climate justice. 'Thank You For The Rain’ is a documentary film about a Kenyan farmer and his family.  It is also a great conversation starter to empower young people to think (and hopefully act) on issues of global social justice.  A screening guide accompanies the film, which is suitable for ages 11+.

The new resources are available from christianaid.org.uk/get-involved/campaigns/climate-justice-youth-resources
