Our regular round-up of news received from churches

The ‘two Phyls’ – Phyllis Strachan and Phyllis Wilson – completed the 300,000 Steps Challenge during May as part of Milton of Campsie Parish Church’s fundraising for Christian Aid Week.

Between them, they raised £1825, in addition to the £3716 the Church collected by envelope.

Hazel Ross, treasurer of the Guild at Peterhead New Parish Church, undertook a sponsored walk for Guild partner projects - 5km per day for five days a week for five weeks in April and May – raising £700. Sometimes she was accompanied by family members and friends and other Guild members.
