AS ‘Creation time’ approaches, Eco-Congregation Scotland has released a series of readings to support congregations and has also organised a number of Zoom video conferences to support this year’s themes.
Eco-congregation Scotland chaplain, the Rev David Coleman has produced pre-recorded readings with the title ‘Gospel Unearthed’ to support the season, which runs from September 1 to October 4. The resources are available here
The sustainability charity also has four seminars throughout August: Creation Calls the Tune (in two parts), Creation Time 2021 and Making Things Last. Details on how to be a part of the seminars are available here
Ahead of COP26 in Glasgow in November, the charity is also asking Scottish churches to sign the COP26 Pledge to support ‘a just and green crovery from Covid-19 as Scotland prepares to hos the UN climate talks COP26. The Pledge is available here
