Sheena McNair was the first lady to be welcomed into the eldership of Kilmartin Parish Church, Argyll, in 1981. Subsequently, Kilmartin became part of the parish of Glassary, Kilmartin and Ford, and Sheena held the role of Session Clerk for a number of years. On February 6, the Rev Dr Roderick Campbell presented Sheena with a certificate recognising her service of 41 years.

Myra Boyd received a long service certificate following 30 years’ service as an Elder at St Enoch’s Hogganfield Church, Glasgow.
