Day of Prayer for Christians in the media

                                                                                                                            Tuesday August 23 2022

An organisation of Christians working in the UK media has designated Sunday October 30 as the Day of Prayer for the Media.

Christians in Media has issued an invitation to churches to set aside time that Sunday to pray in particular for their local, regional, national and social media, and those in their communities who work in the industry.

Highlighting the date, organisers state: “Never before has it been so important to stand up for truth, integrity and justice in a world crying out for God’s love, grace and compassion.” The day of prayer calls for ‘a media to hold the powerful to account’ and to give ‘a voice to the voiceless’.
