Climate Conference for Young People

Tuesday October 25 2022

A day conference for young people will be held in Glasgow next month to mark the anniversary of COP26.

Climate, Church & Change will be held at Stonelaw Church in Rutherglen, Glasgow on Saturday November 5. Organised and led by young people from CoSY (Church of Scotland Youth) Glasgow, in conjunction with the Presbytery of Glasgow, it will examine what has changed in the year since last year’s climate conference, and discuss the way forward.

There will be guest speakers throughout the day, alongside workshops designed to help attendees to go back to their individual congregations equipped and empowered to make a difference.

The event is designed for young people, aged S1 and above. Registration is from 10am, with the event starting at 10:30am and finishing by 3:30pm.

Attendance is free, but you are asked to pre-book through Eventbrite to allow the organisers to track numbers. Please note that you will have to provide your own lunch, but refreshments will be provided at several breaks throughout the day.

November's Life and Work is out now.
