'Journeying With New Scots'

Tuesday February 14 2023

Scottish Faiths Action for Refugees, together with Faith in Community Scotland and the Church of Scotland, is hosting a one-day gathering called ‘Journeying with New Scots – Building community with refugees and asylum seekers’ in Stirling next month.

The event is an opportunity for churches and New Scots from across Scotland to worship together, share stories and best practice, and to hear from New Scots on their experience of faith and welcome in Scotland's churches.

The event, on Saturday March 25 in St Mark's Parish Church, Raploch, Stirling, is open to church leaders and members from all denominations, as well as members of all faiths, though it will be a specifically Christian gathering. The event will be free and lunch provided.

Support may be available to cover childcare commitments, and there may be help for travel costs for refugees or asylum seekers.

You can sign up for the conference and see additional details on the Eventbrite page, https://journeyingwithnewscots.eventbrite.co.uk or for more information contact David Moodie on David.Moodie@churchofscotland.org.uk
