Training for Men in Ending Violence Against Women

Monday March 20 2023

Men in the Church of Scotland are invited to a training session asking what men can do to end violence against women.

The session, organised by the Church’s gender-based violence task group, Integrity, will be led by three male Church ministers. Participants will be encouraged to honestly consider the issue of violence against women, its causes and the particular forms of sexism which exist in the Church.

The event will also include practical ideas to influence cultures of equality and inclusion in congregations and work places, as well as interpersonal ideas for calling out sexist remarks and jokes, and exploring defensiveness when we are called out.

This online training session will take place on Wednesday April 26 at 6.30pm. It is free and you can book your place via Eventbrite. To learn more about the work of Integrity, please email integrity@churchofscotland.org.uk
