CONGREGATIONS have been asked to set aside time to pray for those working in the media on the last Sunday in October.

Christians in Media – an organisation for those working in the industry in the UK – has designated Sunday October 29 as the annual Day of Prayer for the Media.

Congregations are asked to set aside time on this Sunday to pray ‘for their local, regional national and social media’ and for those in congregations who work in and with media.

Urging congregations to take part, Christians in Media said: “Never has it been so important to stand up for truth, integrity and justice in a world crying out for God’s love, grace and compassion.”
