Dementia-friendly concerts at Edinburgh church

THE latest in a series of free dementia-friendly concerts took place at an Edinburgh church in May.

Music for Brass Quintet was attended by a sizeable audience at Morningside Parish Church on May 28. The concerts are free but donations for the church’s Morningside Hope project are accepted. The project supports dementia projects within the community.

The next dementia-friendly concert takes place on Saturday September 23, featuring the String Quartet. The concert takes place at 2pm and visitors will be able to view an exhibition of work from the church’s Heart for Art group which will also take place over the same weekend in the sanctuary at Morningside Parish Church.
