Finance in Unions Webinar

Tuesday June 11 2024

An online webinar is taking place next week discussing the financial implications of church unions.

Run by the Church of Scotland’s Stewardship Team, the Zoom session, at 7.30pm on June 20, will help participants understand the financial implications and requirements around unions and know about the guidance and resources available to them.

The church’s Deputy Treasurer, Leanne Thompson, will share a short presentation, and specialist staff from across the national offices will form a panel to take questions.

This is a public event but is aimed primarily at treasurers, session clerks and other relevant office-bearers in congregations currently affected by a union adjustment.

The session will be available on YouTube afterwards.

You can register for the event here. You can email questions to stewardship@churchofscotland.org.uk and there will also be opportunity to put further questions to the panel during the live event.
