With the UK General Election just over a week away, the country’s churches and religious organisations have produced a huge range of resources to help members get involved and to discuss the issues that are important to them.
Churches Together in Britain and Ireland (CTBI) have brought together the links to election content from nearly 30 organisations at their website. These include guidance on running a hustings, advice on the need for voter ID, and guides to questions to ask the candidates.
The list includes the Church of Scotland and other denominations including the Church of Wales, the Quakers, and the Free Church Group; as well as campaigning organisations and charities including the Climate Justice Coalition, Let’s End Poverty, Eco-Congregation Scotland, Christian Aid, SCIAF and JustMoney.
