Freuchie Church celebrated its annual Harvest Thanksgiving on September 22. The church was decorated from floor to window ledge with a beautiful display that had been put together by the local nursery. It was particularly appreciated to have turnips, grain and oats grown in the fields around the village donated by local farmers. There was a collection of tins and packets for the local foodbanks and the fruit and vegetables were auctioned off to raise £135, also for the foodbanks.

With Margaret Robinson, of the Faifly, Duntocher afternoon Guild, she visited CrossReach’s Waterfront Campus in Erskine and was shown around by Kyle Fleming, Head of Education.
