Tearfund Seeks Churches for Quiz Night

Wednesday November 6 2024

Tearfund’s annual Big Quiz Night is back on November 16, and the charity is calling for 500 churches across the country to take part.

Since 2018, the Big Quiz Night has raised more than £1m towards Tearfund’s work alleviating extreme poverty around the world. The charity provides free ready-made quiz resources so that organisers have everything they need to hold the evening, including questions suitable for all ages and teams, as well as social media assets and videos to engage quizzers.

Tearfund’s Head of Church and Supporter Engagement, Graeme McMeekin said: “Our annual Big Quiz Night is a perfect opportunity to bring people together and put your knowledge to the test. Now in its seventh year, we want to see 500 churches taking part in our quiz to help support our Transforming Communities programme and bring an end to extreme poverty. This work is vital because it is proven to lead to wide ranging, long term improvements to social and economic wellbeing.”
