Our regular round-up of news received from churches

Pulteneytown Parish Church in Wick have donated over 90 filled shoe boxes for the annual Blythswood Christmas Appeal which sends gifts to those in need, mainly in Eastern Europe.

The photograph shows some of those from the church who were involved in the shoe box appeal.


Ness Bank Church, Inverness supported the Blythswood Shoebox Appeal, filling around 125 boxes. Members are pictured with the Rev Stuart Smith.


Each year the community, Church and local organisations in Freuchie come together to collect Blythswood boxes. This year a new record was set with over 90 boxes! The picture shows Irene Veitch, Ailsa Armstrong and the Rev Ian Hamilton.
