Bellshill Central Parish Church is the spiritual home of Forerunners Scotland, an inter-denominational Christian group of Indonesians in Scotland. The church recently hosted their Christmas gathering, meal and family night.
Five new members were admitted to the Abbey Church of Dunfermline on December 8. Josh and Luke Dalgliesh, Emily Coull, Gemma Paterson and Courtenay Summerson were then able to take their first Communion.

Eighteen elders of Alloway and Fisherton Parish Church were presented with long service certificates at their Christmas Jumper service on December 8.
Thomasina Ramsay and Sandy McAllister of Stranraer Parish Church have received long service awards after serving as elders for 30 years. Sandy was ordained in the High Kirk in October 1994 and has served on the Finance Committee and the Prop erty Team as well as being the Church Health and Safety Officer. Thomasina was ordained in the Old Parish Church in December 1994, served as Treasurer at Trinity Church, and, when Trinity formed the union with the High Kirk, became the Finance Team leader.
