Walkers Wanted for Kiltwalk

Wednesday February 26 2025

Then Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, the Very Rev Dr Iain Greenshields, and Christian Aid supporters took part in the Kiltwalk in 2022

Christian Aid Scotland is again appealing to supporters to take part in this year’s Kiltwalk events.

Kiltwalk, one of Scotland’s largest mass sponsored walking events, takes place this year in Glasgow on April 26 and 27, Aberdeen on June 1, Dundee on August 17 and Edinburgh on September 14.

At each event there will be a range of distance options, from the three-mile ‘Wee Wander’ to the 22-mile ‘Mighty Stride’.

Entry is £20 for the two longer distances and £13 (£7 children for the Wee Wander), and all funds raised go quickly and directly to your chosen charity.

In recent year, Christian Aid has had walkers in all four cities, and last year they raised more than £12,500 between them.

Other charities, including the Church of Scotland's social care provider, CrossReach, are also taking part.
