New Resource Takes Easter Outdoors

As signs of spring appear, and with Easter happening unusually late this year, the Scottish Bible Society (SBS) is encouraging teachers to head outdoors with their classes.

The SBS has released a new Must Know Bible Stories resource, designed to help use outdoor learning spaces to explore the story of Easter.

Suitable for use in the playground, a field, local forest or even the beach, the Easter Outdoors resource offers from five activity ideas, with ‘easy’, ‘next level’ and ‘extra challenge’ options for each.

The Must Know Bible Stories resources began as an initiative of St Columba’s Church of Scotland in Aberdeen, and are now hosted by SBS.

They include early, first and second level lesson packs for Easter. Also new this year, the Easter Early Years resource is available in Gaelic.
