Golfers are being offered the chance to play one of Edinburgh’s most historic courses, while supporting the Church of Scotland’s social care work.
CrossReach’s annual golf day is this year taking place at the Bruntsfield Links Golf Society, the fourth oldest golf club in the world. The historic Edinburgh course has a three year waiting list.
The golf day, on Friday September 12, includes a bacon roll and tea/coffee, 18 holes of golf and finally a barbecue on the terrace. You can book as a team of two or four, for £200 per person.
All the proceeds of the day will go towards CrossReach’s social care work around Scotland. The Church’s social care provider is one of Scotland’s largest non-statutory care providers, offering services for older people, children and families, people with learning disabilities, mental health problems or living with addiction, and prison visitors. Last year, the organisation supported 28,500 people and 2000 families.
