At the family Communion Service on Easter Day a large group of communicants were welcomed at Fort Augustus Parish Church. Six new members were admitted in the Confirmation service and four more who transferred their membership from other churches. They are pictured with the Rev Anthony Jones and session clerk Catherine Fraser.

At Glengarry Parish Church, also part of Great Glen Churches, John and Karen Henshall were both confirmed and admitted. They are pictured with Mr Jones.

Barrhead St Andrew’s Parish Church baptised four people and welcomed a total of 17 new people into the church family as members.

The church borrowed a portable baptistry from Perth North Church for the occasion, and minister the Rev Tim Mineard was able to baptise three people by full immersion and one from the font.

The 17 new members include three Ukrainians, several Nigerian families and a couple from Hong Kong who have been attending the church over the past year.

Life and Work is the magazine of the Church of Scotland. May issue out now.
