St Paul’s Church, Milngavie held its second Easter Festival, telling the message of Easter using displays and flowers. Different groups in the church each took on a display. All profits from donations went to CrossReach’s addiction services and CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service). The festival was held for four days during Holy Week and welcomed involvement from other local churches.

An art project has been installed on the side wall of the manse of Scots International Church in Rotterdam. The artwork is an extension of a mosaic wall, that was created over 10 years ago, and is still very popular as a spot for selfies.

Just like the original, the extension was conceived by artist Wilma van der Meyden from Glasgow, and installed by volunteers from the church and local residents. The job was completed on Saturday afternoon with a tea party.

Two elders of Larbert West Parish Church, Gail Paton and Carol Sergeant, are pictured receiving 25-year long service certificates from the Rev Mhairi Gilchrist. Sadly, another lady due to receive a certificate, Maureen Jordan, died recently and her funeral was held on April 14, the last in the Larbert West building before it closes on April 30.
