Athletes Encouraged to Run for CrossReach

                                                                                                                         Wednesday June 18 2025

ATHLETES considering taking part in the Great Scottish Run later this year are being urged to consider raising funds for CrossReach.

Runners can choose from a 10k or half marathon for the races which take place in Glasgow on October 5. Participants taking part in the shorter race pledge to raise at least £250 for the Social Care Council of the Church of Scotland (CrossReach) or £350 for the longer distance.

Those taking part must be aged 17 or over and further information is available here about signing up for the event and other fundraising challenges throughout the year.
