A two-day conference will be held in the Highlands this summer aimed at helping churches to address the challenges facing them in the 21st century.

“Going Forward: Empowering the Church for the Future” will take place at Highland Theological College (HTC), Dingwall on August 25-26.

Speakers will include Church of Scotland parish ministers the Revs Tommy McNeil and Jim Stewart, the Rev Hector Morrison, Principal of HTC, Elaine Duncan, chief executive of the Scottish Bible Society, and representatives of other denominations.

Hector Morrison said: “We are aware of the profound changes impacting the Church, and we want to offer a conference that is both realistic and forward-looking.

“This event is designed to reinvigorate and strengthen attendees, fostering a renewed confidence in Christ and equipping them to navigate the complexities of contemporary ministry.”

The cost of the event is £40. Register at Eventbrite.
