Cupar Old and St Michael of Tarvit Parish Church has this year celebrated 600 years of worship on its present site. The celebrations have included an anniversary service attended by the Moderator of the General Assembly, the Rt Rev Dr Angus Morrision, an open air ecumenical service held on the site of the original church vacated in 1415, and the publication of a book on the history of the church.

During the year, the Sunday Club have been working on a surprise for the congregation – a vibrantly coloured stained 'glass' panel to fit into an illuminated alcove in the Old Parish Centre. The panel was dedicated at the annual family ceilidh which took place in the Centre on December 12. During the dedication ceremony, Reader, Brian Porteous, paid particular tribute to Sunday Club leaders Jenni Gilchrist and Eleanor Barbour, who had led the project.

Eleven Elders at Grangemouth: Zetland Church have received certificates for long service ranging from 42 to 62 years.

John Wardlaw, George Cockburn, Dan Taylor, John Buchan, Harry Trevis, Fraser Binnie, John Deans, Ken Spence, Jim Brough and Charles Clason are pictured with Session Clerk Woody Speirs and the Rev Alison Meikle. Another Elder, Ian Borwick, is not pictured.
