Faith Based Photography Competition Launched

                                                                                                                                                            Tuesday June 28, 2016

A UK-wide photography competition promoting faith through image has been launched for 2017.

Now in its seventh year, Faith Through A Lens is open to amateur photographers over the age of 16 and aims to ‘profile positive effects of faith within a diverse range of communities.’

Ten finalists will be invited to an awards ceremony in London in November. The winner will receive a personal prize valued at £1,000, including a Nikon D5500 D-SLR camera and accessories.

Launching the competition, Stuart Young of Congregational & General Insurance, sponsors of the event, said: “In launching Faith Through A Lens, we hope to uncover special moments that really demonstrate that faith exists and the importance it plays in everyday life.”

The closing date for entries for the competition is October 3.

The winning entries from 2015, along with submissions to 2016 can be made at www.faiththroughalens.co.uk
