Former Moderator at Media Conference

Wednesday September 18 2013

Former Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, the Very Rev Albert Bogle, will be the speaker at a Church and Media meeting in Edinburgh tomorrow night (Thursday September 19).

Mr Bogle will share his experience of using the internet to create an online worship space. His church, Bo’ness: St Andrew’s, was famously the first in the UK to stream its services for iPhone and iPad users.

The evening, which will ask whether rapid technological change has changed the principles of communication, is aimed at anyone with an interest in media and communications. It is hosted by the Edinburgh and District Churches’ Council for Local Broadcasting.

The meeting is at Central Hall, 2 West Tollcross (Lothian Road), EH3 9BP. Refreshments are available from 6.30pm, with the event starting at 7pm.
