On Friday June 21, the Rev Ian Wotherspoon presented Cupar’s Lighthouse Café and Christian Resource Centre with a Toilet Twinning certificate, marking the completion of the renovation of the centre’s toilet.

In August last year members of St John’s and Dairsie Church, where Mr Wotherspoon is Locum minister, raised over £1200 for Toilet Twinning. The last framed certificate was set aside as a gift for the Lighthouse charity.

Mr Wotherspoon said: “Our Church is delighted to support the Lighthouse in this simple, yet important way.  Hopefully customers will discuss the work Toilet Twinning does, and indeed think about supporting their work.”

Denny Westpark Church welcomed two new elders on June 9. Glenda Young (left) and Elizabeth McQuillian are pictured with the Rev Kipchumba Too after the service.

Fairmilehead Parish Church in Edinburgh had a lot to celebrate on a recent Celebration Sunday when long service certificates were presented to two elders Audrey Cowan and Jim Chalmers. Certificates were also presented to the growing number of children in the Young Church, by minister the Rev Cheryl McKeller-Young. Fairmilehead has also welcomed 21 new members in the last 16 months.
