Saint Andrew Press book shortlisted for top literary prize

A book on the life of the wife of missionary-explorer, Dr David Livingstone, published by the Church of Scotland's publishing imprint, has been shortlisted for a prestigious literary prize.

'Looking for Mrs Livingstone', written by author and writer Julie Davidson, examines the life of Mary Livingstone and her significant influence on the life of her husband.

The book, published by Saint Andrew Press, is one of seven to be shortlisted for the Scottish Book of the Year by the Saltire Society.

The winner of the award will be announched at a glittering ceremony in the Mitchell Library in Glasgow on November 14.
