Golf Day Tackles Loneliness

Wednesday March 11 2020

The annual golf fundraiser for the Church of Scotland social care council, CrossReach, will this year highlight the issues of poor mental health, social isolation and loneliness.

The #YouAreNotAlone Golf Day will take place on June 4 at Glenbervie Golf Club, in central Scotland between Falkirk and Stirling. Mental wellbeing is one of CrossReach’s priorities, and the organisation says the golf day will be a chance for participants to both improve their own mental and physical health, as well as raising funds for CrossReach’s mental wellbeing services.

The golf day costs £299 for teams of four, including breakfast and lunch. There will be challenges including beat the Moderator and straightest drive, a prize for best team name and a charity auction.

To enter, contact Euan McIntyre on euan.mcintyre@crossreach.org.uk or 0131 454 4374
