Two Church of Scotland ministry candidates were married to each other on Sunday August 1.

The wedding took place at Portobello and Joppa Church, Edinburgh, where the bride, Moira Taylor-Smith, undertook her second placement.

Moira is a fourth year candidate for the ministry, studying at New College in Edinburgh. Her new husband, Kerr Wintersgill, is a second year candidate, studying at Highland Theological College in Dingwall.

With numbers at weddings still restricted due to coronavirus, the ceremony was live streamed on Facebook for the couple’s friends and fellow candidates.
