Black History Month Event

Thursday October 8 2020

St Andrew’s and St George’s West church in Edinburgh is hosting an online Black History Month event on October 15.

‘Stories from Scotland and Beyond’ will be a lively panel discussion of speakers sharing their experiences and stories with opportunities to ask questions.

Among the panellists are Songs of Praise presenter and singer Andrea Baker, and Father Azariah France-Williams, Church of England priest and author of 'Ghost Ship: Institutional Racism and the Church of England'. They will be joined by Lisa Williams, founder of the Edinburgh Caribbean Association, and Dunni Smith, a British African of Nigerian lineage.

The free event, hosted on Zoom, will start at 7.30pm. Register through Eventbrite.
