Former Moderator Walks for Nazareth Hospital

Tuesday April 13 2021

A former Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland and his wife are taking part in this month’s virtual Kiltwalk to raise money for The Nazareth Hospital EMMS.

The Very Rev Colin Sinclair, and his wife Ruth, have set a target of £1000 for the Nazareth Trust, which runs the hospital. All donations will be doubled by the Hunter Foundation.

Colin said: “The Nazareth Trust is unique in its position in the Middle East, aiming to reach out to the local population and the wider world, irrespective of faith, political persuasion or tradition, through healthcare, education, proclamation and service.”

Colin and Ruth have previously taken part in the Walk the Jesus Trail sponsored walk in the Holy Land in aid of the Nazareth Trust, and hope to do that walk again later this year, if coronavirus restrictions allow.

Current Moderator, the Rt Rev Dr Martin Fair, is also taking part in the Virtual Kiltwalk in aid of Christian Aid.
