CrossReach Launches Make a Will Week

Wednesday June 22

CrossReach is launching a new campaign to encourage supporters to make a will and benefit the charity at the same time.

For its new Make a Will Week (from Monday July 11), the Church of Scotland’s social care provider has teamed up with estate planning solicitors Jones Whyte.

They offer a range of will services, and will make a donation to CrossReach if you create a will or set up a power of attorney through them.

A message to supporters from CrossReach said: “A Will is such an important document as without it, everything you accumulate throughout your life could go to the wrong people, cost considerably more and causes increased stress to those left behind. Despite all these disadvantages, most of us put off creating a Will for one reason or another. That is why we wanted to dedicate a week to raising awareness of Will's and offer some support.

“CrossReach are excited to team up with Jones Whyte Estate planning to make that a little easier and less daunting. What's more, if you take their services to create or update your Will, they will make a donation to CrossReach.

“Every legacy has the potential to make the most incredible difference to lives all over Scotland, giving someone, a family the hope that they need. By considering leaving a gift to CrossReach you are enabling us to plan ahead and be there to save and support more lives, in your name.”
